To strengthen the main responsibility of enterprise safety production and test the practicality of emergency plans, at 15:00 on May 9, 2025, Xinggang Company organized all staff in the office building to carry out comprehensive emergency drills for fire and earthquake. This drill strictly followed the "Company Office Building Fire Accident Emergency Plan" and tested the enterprise's emergency response system by simulating real scenarios under the guidance of the special work deployment of the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau.
The drill set a scenario where a socket short circuit caused a fire in the 207 conference room on the second floor of the office building. It systematically tested key links such as the transmission of emergency instructions, the deployment of fire-fighting equipment, the guarantee of communication equipment, and the rapid assembly of personnel. During the 20-minute full-process drill, the participants completed the specified actions in an orderly manner, including danger reporting, initial disposal, emergency evacuation, and on-site control, with a focus on verifying the coordinated disposal capabilities of multiple departments. Li Xin, the leader of the company's fire emergency leading group, commanded on-site, and the safety department supervised the standardization of the process throughout.
According to the on-site assessment, this drill achieved the preset goals: the emergency command system responded in a timely manner, the communication network remained unblocked, the rescue forces completed the assembly within 6 minutes, and the on-site disposal met the requirements of the plan. In the summary and comment, the director of the Safety Department emphasized that the drill revealed a 0.5-second delay in the connection of emergency procedures, which needs to be improved through regular training to enhance the response speed. At the same time, combined with recent typical fire cases, he required all staff to deepen special training on the use of fire-fighting equipment and post-earthquake risk avoidance, so as to ensure that emergency knowledge is transformed into actual combat capabilities.
The data from this drill will serve as an important reference for the enterprise to revise the emergency plan.
